Job Summary
Manage voter file acquisition, VoteBuilder administration, and compliance for the Arizona Democratic Party's data infrastructure. Respond to user support requests, train staff on campaign tools, and automate routine processes. Obtain polling locations, format data for upload, and create training materials for diverse users. Build reports on campaign metrics, track redistricting changes, and maintain baseline data accuracy through cleaning and standardization. Set up new committees and serve as the first line of support for administrative needs. Collaborate with the Data Director, DNC, and stakeholders to create target universes and ensure secure data management.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 campaign cycle of experience in a data role or 3+ campaign cycles of experience in field roles with high-level VoteBuilder access
- Familiarity with Votebuilder (VAN), Mobilize, and Google Sheets
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, especially VAN usage and data standards
- Ability to manage a wide array of stakeholders, including those with competing interests
- Willingness to ask questions and grow within a technical role with constantly changing priorities
- Ability to communicate clearly and proactively both internally and with external partners
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and navigate competing priorities
- Resilient, resourceful, and adaptive to priority shifts and change
- Values and prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion and enjoys working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Believes in and lives out the Arizona Democratic Party and DNC's mission and values
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Python
- Familiarity with the Democratic data and tech ecosystem
- Familiarity with the political landscape of AZ
