Job Summary
Senior Deputy Counsel, Housing Growth at Mission Australia. Lead legal input across a pipeline of complex housing development and acquisition projects, provide legal advice on sophisticated property, construction and financing transactions, and partner with Housing Growth leadership, Finance, and the Executive team. Offer strategic legal support on procurement, tenders, and partnership models for housing transactions and advise on innovative funding approaches, including blended and government-backed financing. Lead and develop a high-performing specialist legal team and act as a trusted adviser on high-value, high-impact transactions. Requires a Bachelor of Laws with a current practicing certificate and 10+ years post-admission experience in financing, property development, construction, infrastructure or complex transactional law; postgraduate qualification or industry credentials are desirable.
Required Qualifications
