Job Summary

Manage records management by storing and retrieving documents, conducting searches, and issuing certified or non-certified copies of official records. Process e-filings, verify documents against recording standards, and enter data into the computer system to create or update records. Handle administrative support by answering telephone inquiries, drafting correspondence, collecting fees and fines, and monitoring payment activity. Serve as a liaison to employees, vendors, and citizens regarding Court Records functions and department policies. Perform duties in the Administrative or Judicial Building, including preparing documents for microfilming or scanning, with a minimum high school diploma and two years of clerical experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of experience performing clerical and/or administrative support work in civil or criminal fields
  • At least one (1) year in a County Clerk's Office
  • Ability to exert medium physical effort
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull objects of medium weight (20-50 pounds)
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motion
  • Ability to perceive and discriminate sounds and visual cues or signals
  • Ability to communicate orally
