Job Summary
Deputy Component Aftermarket Integrated Product Team (CAIPT) Leader supports Mature Commercial Engines Aftermarket activity for PW4000, PW2000, V2500, and F117 programs, driving aftermarket strategies to reduce cost, improve time on wing and turn-around time in engine overhaul/repair shops. The role collaborates with CIPT leadership to ensure alignment between program requirements and aftermarket strategy, leads part strategies to address technical issues with design, inspection limits, and repair strategies, and engages with Program Office and stakeholders to develop rapid responses to aftermarket needs. Responsibilities include preserving the MRO Shop Visit Financial Plan, spares risk mitigations, customer engine MRO supportability, safety risk assessments, engine manual enhancements, and aftermarket cost, while maintaining liaison with Aftermarket organizations, CTS, ASE, PCE, and Program Office. Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, supplier/vendor management, and program-management capabilities are required to drive execution across multiple technical disciplines; travel is expected to be less than 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of prior relevant work experience or an Advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant Aerospace experience
- 4+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment across multiple technical disciplines
- 4+ Experience with OCE product family
- 4+ Experience in CIPT environment
- 4+ Experience with suppliers, vendors, and partners
- 4+ Experience in any Aftermarket capacity within Pratt & Whitney
- Travel less than 10%
