Job Summary
Read and approve General Orders, draft legal documents, and provide legal opinions to requests. Maintain liaison functions with the State Attorney's Office, other government entities, and attorneys. Represent the PCSO in quasi-criminal, civil, and criminal cases, including major lawsuits. Prepare CALEA inspection reports, analyze public records requests, and respond to shootings or serious accidents. Manage minor claims resolution and execute duties as a confidential task. Requires a Juris Doctorate degree, Florida Bar membership, and valid driver's license. Works in an office setting with on-call status. Salary ranges from $92,586.83 to $109,964.19 annually.
