Deputy assigned to Patrol

Enforce Garfield County resolutions, state and Federal statutes, and traffic laws while responding to calls for assistance, complaints, suspicious activity, domestic disputes, and emergency situations. Conduct crime prevention and investigation activities, including investigating criminal and non-criminal cases, preparing and executing arrest and search warrants, and making arrests. Provide care, custody, movement, and control of inmates, and offer security to courts. Drive a vehicle to perform essential functions, participate in search and rescue efforts, and assist in crime scene investigation follow-up and processing. Develop working knowledge of Garfield County Sheriff's Office Policy and Procedures, prepare reports and records, and complete required training.
