Deputy assigned to Detentions

Process inmates admitted to and discharged from the Detention facility, transport inmates, and supervise their security and conduct. Provide courtroom security and protect staff in contact with inmates while assisting medical personnel with emergency care. Develop knowledge of Garfield County Sheriff's Office Policy and Procedures, prepare required reports, and participate in mandatory training. Perform duties under close supervision to learn essential functions, including inmate work details and programs preparing inmates for release.
