Job Summary
Deputy Manager will assist the Project Manager in delivering security services for a complex, multi-site operation. Responsibilities include administering internal control programs, executing client directions, monitoring attendance and disciplinary issues for contractor personnel, administering a driver safety/awareness program, preparing weekly reports (including post-incident reports and total guard hours), conducting post checks at various locations, maintaining post orders, conducting specialized security training, establishing performance measures for service delivery, attending daily briefings with the Manager, recommending enhancements to policy and procedures, supervising the use of the Electronic Guard Tour Monitoring System (EGTMS), and being available on call 24/7. The role requires managing guard staff, coordinating with First Responders as directed, and presenting with a professional appearance in business attire. Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Five years of experience managing security operations at a complex, multi-use facility
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Highly organized and available during off-hours and weekends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing security staff/guards
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to receive and disseminate information clearly
- Ability to support First Responders as directed
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Highly organized and responsive
- Courteous, customer-service demeanor
