Job Summary
Shadow store leadership to assist in achieving operational goals, maintaining compliance, and supporting financial targets like sales and gross profit. Actively build a R.E.A.L. culture by fostering trust, promoting diversity and inclusion, and modeling SEG leadership behaviors. Develop store and department operations while completing all training program assignments and seeking personal growth opportunities. This 12-month program prepares candidates for Produce-Floral, Deli-Bakery, Meat-Seafood, or Evening Manager roles. Candidates must be at least 18, hold a high school diploma, and have one year of retail experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail environment
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to travel to district training store and the leadership workshops for the length of the program
- Ability to complete the program uninterrupted
- 40% travel
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Possession of Food Safety Certification or the ability to obtain same within 180 days of placement
Additional Requirements
- Supervisory Experience 0 -3 yrs minimum
