Job Summary
Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction while ensuring all planograms are executed and merchandise is properly priced, displayed, and stocked. Supervise, train, and develop staff in all functions required to run your assigned area, enforce policies and procedures, and oversee operations through effective delegation of work, employees, time, and resources. Maintain working knowledge of products and services, operate forklifts or industrial trucks as needed, and promptly handle customer complaints in a professional manner. This active role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds daily. 3-4 years of retail experience with management skills is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years of retail experience
- Flexibility to work any open store hours
- Must possess strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to: Multi-task, coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
- Ability to: Effectively communicate with customers, in-person and over the phone
- Ability to: Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skills within the scope of the position
- Ability to: Prioritize, accurately multi-task, adhere to deadlines, and learn in a fast paced environment
- The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing all day
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
