Job Summary
Test, diagnose, and repair/refurbish printers, copiers, and electro-mechanical devices. Coordinate toner and consumable replenishment for managed print services while providing technical phone support to field service technicians and customers. Read and interpret mechanical schematics and wiring diagrams to support troubleshooting efforts. Complete necessary paperwork for equipment and parts being repaired or shipped. Earn manufacturer product certification through assigned training. Work in a team environment across departments while maintaining focus and adhering to process protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- minimum one year of experience in the field of computer printer/copier repair
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems/Microsoft Office
- Ability to Multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong electronic and mechanical ability
- Effective organizational skills
- Able to earn manufacture product certification through training as assigned
- Ability to work in a team environment, and across departments
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Sit frequently at a desk
- Frequent fine hand and finger movements (keyboard, writing, mouse movement)
- Continual close visual acuity for reading
- Hearing and Speaking for communication within and outside of company
- May be required to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds for set up/movement of office equipment
