Job Summary
Track team performance against daily, weekly, and monthly targets while driving consistent delivery of operational standards and established processes. Manage health and safety, stock levels, local delivery fleet operations, and facilities maintenance. Lead and motivate the team to achieve shared objectives, coaching staff to improve daily performance and implementing operational policies. You will model hands-on support, including deliveries and cold store picking, and ensure customer service remains central to every decision. This role is integral to the leadership team at Wiltshire Farm Foods, the UK's largest ready-meal supplier, focusing on ethical, sustainable food delivery to vulnerable communities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory role- leading and motivating a team to achieve shared objectives
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service ethos
- Confident using IT systems
- Strong influencing skills
- Able to understand and influence KPIs
- Problem solving skills
- Full driving license
- You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience of leading a team within a retail, wholesale, customer service or operational/logistics environment
- Some knowledge of commercial / P&L / budget management
- Health & safety training
- Food safety training
