Depot Manager

Oversee the smooth running of the Maidstone depot, ensuring targets are met and employees are managed while adhering to all internal processes and safety regulations. Build effective teams by communicating clear goals, ensuring the right mix of skills, and rewarding accomplishments. Manage day-to-day operations including proactive inventory management for slow and obsolete products, recruitment, and setting KPIs to monitor performance and address underperformance. Ensure service level agreements for national and major local accounts are always met, maintain company vehicles for compliance and safety, and monitor driver behavior using telematics. Communicate clear goals and roles to team members, ensuring they have the right mix of skills and leveraging individual strengths. This role requires operational experience in paint or bodyshop environments, strong leadership skills, and competency with IT systems including Office 360, WMS, CRM, and ERP. A valid clean driving licence and understanding of coatings business are preferable.
