Job Summary
Establish and oversee depot operations in Namibia, managing logistics, heavy equipment, and yellow machines while implementing best practices for productivity and safety. Manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and drive financial performance through strategic planning and profitability initiatives. Identify new business opportunities in the energy, construction, mining, and engineering sectors by establishing relationships with key stakeholders and clients. Lead a diverse team of staff, handling recruitment, training, and development to foster a high-performance culture. Fluency in English and Afrikaans is required for effective communication and negotiation within the local market.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in the Namibian market, with a focus on logistics, heavy equipment, or yellow machines
- Proven track record in dealing with energy, construction, mining, and engineering sector operations in Namibia
- Demonstrated ability to manage operations, finances, and business development initiatives
- Exceptional strategic planning and leadership abilities
- Strong understanding of local regulations, market dynamics, and industry trends in Namibia
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English and Afrikaans
