Job Summary
Depot Based Engineer role performing maintenance, servicing and repairs on generators, tanks cables, BSU and distribution boards at a depot in Widnes. You will diagnose faults, troubleshoot to minimise downtime, and escalate to the Technical Team when needed. Travel to customer sites for planned and reactive work, with rapid deployment of road tow generators and on-site installations as required. Independently prioritise workloads, ensure you have the right tools for first-time fixes, and work Monday to Friday (40 hours) with overtime and on-call opportunities. Required to bring NVQ L3 or City and Guilds equivalent electrical and/or mechanical engineering qualification (or equivalent experience in power engineering), and a valid driver’s license. Location: Widnes, Cheshire, United Kingdom. Remote options: in-person. Career development opportunities offered.
