Job Summary
Oversee Platinum Overdraft accounts by monitoring daily reports, processing charge-offs, and tracking repayment plan agreements. Produce monthly board reports detailing charge-off and recovered account activity. Process returned deposited items from the Federal Reserve, collaborate with branch staff to resolve negative balances, and place holds on large dollar notifications. Handle levy processing by reviewing legal orders, checking for exempt funds, and sending funds to issuing agencies. Complete verification of deposits, process fee reversal requests, and assist with internal posting requests from HR and Accounting. Manage IRA account reviews, distributions, and tax documentation while maintaining expertise in current regulations. Participate in department audits and answer branch and customer telephone inquiries. Support interdepartmental efforts to improve operational efficiency and perform other assigned duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Deposit Operations or related banking functions
- Working knowledge of deposit related regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet required processing deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft office and COCC
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Must have full hand dexterity required to operate computer terminal and related equipment
- Must have eye coordination required to operate computer terminal
- Frequently moves around bank, between levels or floors while performing duties
- Often lifts files, records, supply boxes and places in storage areas. Infrequently lifts up to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of IRA regulations and applications is preferred
