Job Summary
Monitor new account setups, process incoming and outgoing transactions, and reconcile internal accounts and cash balances. Oversee customer address changes, log errors and missing documentation, and scan and index documentation for easy access. Perform foreign item processing, handle chargebacks and non-sufficient funds, and update W-8 statuses and demand deposit account information. Complete internal teller and new accounts training, as well as Principles of Banking class. Maintain customer information files and ensure compliance with state and federal banking regulations. Requires high school diploma, one year of related experience, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe, and ability to navigate the cold storage system. Regular on-site attendance is required.
Required Qualifications

- Familiarity with state and federal banking regulations and Alpine Banks policies and procedures
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe

- Ability to evaluate and prioritize workflow in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to be responsible for the consequences of one's own actions and decisions
- Capability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
- Ability to navigate the cold storage system
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalency
- One (1) year related experience in as an Operations Specialist or training in Alpine Bank or other banking environment
- Ability to reach for and lift files open filing cabinets
- Ability to bend or stand on a stool as necessary
