DEPOSIT OPERATIONS REPRESENTATIVE II

Job Summary
Conduct quality control reviews of account holds, stop payments, and returned deposit items; process charge-off and recovery transactions, CD interest checks, and IRA distributions; administer IntraFi and Missouri State Treasurer CD programs; and reconcile internal deposits and general ledger accounts. Resolve problems regarding non-posted items, dormant transactions, and restricted accounts; contact customers via telephone and mail regarding returned items, Bounce Protection activity, and Fresh Start plans. Provide guidance to bank staff on core systems and deposit procedures while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- two-year associate's degree from an accredited university or institution in business, accounting, finance, or other closely related field
- minimum of at least three years of professional work experience in the area of deposit operations
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must have basic PC knowledge including word processing and spreadsheet software programs
- Valid driver's license
