Job Summary
Deposit Operations Manager leads day-to-day deposit and digital banking operations, overseeing a team to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant service. Responsible for supervision, training, and development of Operations staff; resolving customer and internal issues; coordinating audits and examinations; managing vendor communications and system performance with core vendors; and supporting risk management and policy compliance across the bank. Requires interpreting bank policies and regulatory requirements, strong analytical and problem-resolution capabilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Bachelor’s degree and minimum banking experience of 5 years. The role emphasizes professional service to internal/external customers and accountability across operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years working in the Banking industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
- Ability to interpret and comprehend procedures, bank policies, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to calculate figures and analyze transaction processing via internal reports
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret banking periodicals or government regulations
- Strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in supervising, training, and developing staff
- Ability to address customer issues and ensure satisfaction
- Experience coordinating audits and examinations
- Experience working with core vendors and risk management controls
- Knowledge of bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
