Job Summary
Deposit Operations Associate sought to join the on-site Operations Team. Responsibilities include delivering quality service to members via telephone or correspondence; executing timely and accurate member account/electronic service-related administrative duties; processing account updates (address changes, check orders, stop payments, direct deposits, and transfers); issuing plastic cards, verifying applications and qualifications, and maintaining the plastic card manager system; communicating account updates and notices (CDs, safe deposit billing); processing Fed Reserve return checks, ACH items, and signature cards; supporting credit/debit operations (credit card applications, balance transfers, approvals); monitoring department reports, handling online banking requests (bill pay, e-statements, mobile banking, audio response); and maintaining documentation and compliance with BSA, OFAC, and USA Patriot Act requirements. The role emphasizes on-site, cubicle-based work with a focus on accuracy, customer service, and regulatory adherence.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED is required
- Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience is required
- A minimum of two (2) years of office administration experience is preferred
- Prior call center experience is preferred
- Prior experience working in the banking industry is preferred
- Ability to use a computer, navigate the internet, and use common software applications like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) is required
