Job Summary
Deployment Technician responsible for deploying IT equipment and managing inventory within IT logistics. Duties include deploying desktops, laptops, monitors, mobile devices, desk phones, and related IT gear; providing desk-side support and basic troubleshooting; ensuring safe disposal of retired hardware; maintaining asset traceability in inventory systems; receiving inbound hardware, performing cycle counts, and restocking IT cabinets; coordinating device delivery to meet deadlines; assisting with desk moves and workstation setups; coordinating with inventory and logistics teams across sites; supporting e-waste processing and donations; monitoring ticket and task queues and contributing to process improvements. Requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and professional, customer-focused communication; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus; team-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing preferred (not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
