Job Summary
Configure, test, and package credit card terminals and 360 Pro register systems for deployment, conducting quality assurance checks and resolving common preparation issues. Perform standard onsite installations involving payment terminals, printers, and scanners while assisting field technicians with equipment setup and troubleshooting. Support warehouse operations including packaging, labeling, shipping, and equipment organization, serving as a backup for the Warehouse Clerk and Assembler. Identify recurring issues and communicate them to senior staff or management to improve staging and configuration standards. Complete assigned field installs monthly to maintain practical installation knowledge and reinforce understanding of onsite requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in POS, field installation, technical support, or a related technical environment
- Fundamental understanding of computer systems and hardware
- Proficiency with basic network configuration, including IP settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to complete routine staging, configuration, testing, packaging, and quality control work with limited supervision
- Ability to perform standard field deployment assignments as needed
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning, task completion, and issue resolution
- Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to follow direction and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to work professionally with management, deployment technicians, warehouse staff, and Client Services
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted
- Have a valid TX drivers license
- Must undergo a pre-employment drug screening
