Job Summary

Deployment and Support Engineer responsible for leading project delivery, multichannel customer support, and deployment activities across the EMEA - Northern Europe region. Lead internal project kick-off meetings, factory integration and project delivery, manage deployment schedules, identify risks and mitigation plans, and maintain strong customer relationships. Provide multichannel technical support (phone, email, chat, onsite), manage incidents from submission to resolution, analyze complex technical issues, replicate issues in test platforms, and maintain CRM (Jira) with incident tracking. Validate new features and patches with customers, contribute to process improvements, perform Factory Acceptance Tests, verify interoperability with customer ecosystems, deploy platforms, generate documentation, deliver technical training, manage Site Acceptance Tests, and maintain product knowledge base notes. Requires fluent German and English, mid-to-senior experience in customer support and deployment, Linux administration, networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, Multicast, Wireshark), Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployment, and strong communication skills. Willingness to travel within the EMEA region and work in a multicultural team. Location flexibility within the Northern European region.

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering diploma in computer science or related technical fields
  • Fluent German and fluent English
  • Mid to senior technical experience in customer support and deployment and/or R&D
  • Strong skills in Linux Administration
  • Good understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, Multicast, Wireshark)
  • Good technical skills in container virtualization (Docker), Kubernetes and Cloud deployment solutions
  • Cultural knowledge on video streaming protocols and digital video
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with an ability to navigate and communicate at all levels
  • Ability to work within a multi-cultural team and travel in different EMEA countries
