Job Summary
Senior Deployed Systems Support Engineer responsible for deploying and maintaining both classified and unclassified networks, providing technical assistance and training to end users and contractors, and translating real-world requirements into technical specifications. Lead and mentor team members while expanding expertise in MANET, MESH, Data Mesh architectures, Linux/Windows administration, and wireless technologies to support mission operations. Role involves configuring and maintaining networked systems, conducting training deployments, and assisting end users and contractors with failure analysis and tasking, with a focus on evolving deployed systems and ensuring operational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 14+ years of experience in Information Technology
- 2+ years as a Deployed Systems Support Engineer or service equivalent
- Experience with tactical Manet Radios
- Experience with deployed network systems (configuring and maintaining routers, switches, radios, servers, virtualization platforms, edge computer systems) across classified and unclassified environments
- Experience with Network, wireless network, Windows, and Linux system administration
- Knowledge of MANET, MESH, and Data Mesh architectures
- Ability to work shift work or non-standard schedule to support the client mission
- HS diploma or GED
- TS/SCI clearance
- IAT Level II Certification
- Bachelor's degree (Nice If You Have)
- CCNA or CCNP (preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to obtain/hold TS/SCI clearance
- U.S. citizenship may be required by client/contractor policies
