Job Summary
Provide administrative support to CBC/Radio-Canada's Legal Services lawyers in Montreal, coordinating office activities, establishing priorities for lawyers, assisting through all stages of legal matters, and compiling data to facilitate requests for information. Responsibilities include liaising with Corporation components and external stakeholders, performing data entry and document formatting, maintaining agendas, arranging meetings and travel, handling expense accounts, and ensuring physical and electronic filing and filing-system organization. Requires a college diploma in legal secretary/secretarial field or equivalent, at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and fluency in French and English. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and confidentiality skills; ability to work with little supervision; background checks may be required.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma in legal secretarial or the equivalent.
- Minimum three (3) years relevant experience as a legal secretary and/or legal assistant.
- Very good knowledge of the Windows environment, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written).
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written) mandatory.
