Job Summary
Ensure production of manufactured and assembled products starts and finishes within budget and on time by developing KPIs for leadership and team members. Create daily production schedules, measure actual results against plans, and conduct timely performance evaluations. Establish quantitative metrics, guidelines, and standards for department efficiency; review and analyze process flows to identify improvement opportunities. Implement inventory control metrics, cycle count tracking, and scrap disposition protocols while maintaining product quality guidelines. Coordinate production schedules between engineering, purchasing, and sales, and monitor production to resolve issues, reporting metrics weekly to management.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved metal fabrication and manufacturing
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to lift up to 15lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
