Department Supervisor

Organizes assigned area to ensure ready access to orders and maintains the shop in an orderly 5S and well-kept manner. Effectively supervises employees by assigning work, clarifying responsibilities, and providing direction or training on safety procedures and Valence techniques. Monitors department budget, resolves technical problems to keep production moving, and communicates with customer service regarding work in the area. Executes schedules with urgency while participating in improvement teams, Gemba walks, and meetings to streamline processes and increase throughput.
