Job Summary
Plan daily and weekly routes for field technicians, manage the fleet, warehouse, and testing supplies, and lead a team of at least eight technicians. Ensure samples are collected and returned to the laboratory on time by performing on-route sample pickups and handling client interactions. Adhere to safety guidelines, execute operational jobs to ensure customer satisfaction, and provide accurate status reports to internal and external customers. Field calls and emails from clients and maintain discipline and employee development within the team.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED certificate
- Ability to lift <50 lbs. often and > 50 lbs. on occasion
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to work primarily alone and make independent decisions during the course of the work day
- Proven and recognized ability to provide accurate and timely status reports to internal and external customers
- Excellent communication skills
- Telephone etiquette
- Own means of transportation to commute to and from the laboratory
Desired Qualifications
- College or vocational school coursework
- Experience in laboratory setting
