Job Summary
Department Manager of Footwear & Consumables at Golf Town oversees sales execution and customer experience through effective staff training, scheduling, and MOD coverage. Partners with the Regional Visual Merchandiser to maintain visual standards, manages inventory accuracy and price changes, ensures stockroom-to-floor flow, conducts daily huddles and vendor engagements, and leads compliance with training programs and store policies. Requires 1-3 years in fashion retail or merchandising with prior management experience; emphasizes strong communication, merchandising, and stock planning capabilities; hybrid environment with in-person operations in Kelowna, BC. The role focuses on driving sales through exceptional service, merchandising execution, inventory control, and team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a Fashion retail environment or equivalent relevant experience
- 1-3 years of clothing/ apparel merchandising is required
- Previous management experience would be an asset
- Affinity for luxury sport apparel and an interest in golf
- Strong communication skills and sound judgment
- Prior clothing merchandising and stock planning responsibility required
- Ability to execute company standards successfully
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to adapt to meet a wide range of customer needs
