Job Summary
Conduct full call responsibilities across general surgery, vascular, neurosurgery, transplant, and interventional radiology suites with a medical direction ratio of 1:2 or 1:3. Deliver high-quality clinical care, participate in innovative research, and educate medical students and future anesthesiologists as a faculty member in the Department of Anesthesiology. Engage in scholarly activity to meet criteria for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor. Requires M.D. or D.O. with board eligibility, a Georgia medical license, and transplant or neuro anesthesia experience as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
- Eligible to apply for a medical license in the state of Georgia
- American Board of Anesthesiology board certified/eligible
- NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with transplant anesthesia and/or neuro anesthesia a plus
