Department Manager - Trade

Job Summary
Lead a team to deliver a consistent, knowledgeable, and efficient experience for trade customers while driving sales through effective merchandising and strong availability. Build relationships with key customers and work closely with Trade Specialists to ensure a seamless end-to-end service. Manage rostering, stock flow, and day-to-day operations to keep everything running smoothly, using customer insights to improve service and strengthen loyalty. This role includes a minimum of one in three weekend rosters and some public holiday work. You will lead from the floor, ensuring safe work practices and connecting confidently with customers and teams to solve problems and deliver results in a fast-paced commercial environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of customer service and commercial outcomes
- Lead by example in safe work practices
- An ability to prioritise tasks & meet deadlines in a fast environment
- This role includes a minimum of 1 in 3 weekend roster
- some public holiday work is required
