Job Summary
Lead the Pharmacy Department as Pharmacy Manager at London Drugs in Calgary, overseeing hiring, scheduling, payroll, and staff development. Provide professional leadership to the Pharmacy Department, maintain high standards of practice, deliver exceptional pharmacy services, and drive efficient operations. Engage in patient counseling, disease management, and community programs; participate in staff training, coaching, and professional development. Strong candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, a valid pharmacist license, and 1-2 years of community pharmacy experience, plus leadership and communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- 1-2 years of community pharmacy experience
- Valid Registered Pharmacist license and in good standing with the provincial College
- Strong working knowledge of all aspects of the pharmacy business
- Willing to participate in continued education to upgrade knowledge
- Good communication skills and excellent customer and staff relations
- Ability to lead a team and have a coaching management style
- Ability to work quickly, multi-task and work well under pressure
- A high level of professionalism, energy and enthusiasm
