Job Summary
Department Manager responsible for merchandising and sales within the assigned department, ensuring the highest level of customer service and reporting to the Store Manager. Responsibilities include directing merchandising of products, setting distribution priorities for new merchandise, maintaining adequate department inventory, assisting customers, coordinating with Retail Buyers on product needs, training and guiding new department team members, and upholding safety in handling merchandise. Requires ability to work days, nights, and every other weekend; strong customer service skills and physical ability to handle up to 50 pounds, with long periods of standing and occasional bending/twisting. Education: High School Diploma preferred; Customer Service training/experience preferred.
