Job Summary
Department Manager responsible for overseeing daily department operations across Meat/Fish/Produce/Cashier/Prep/Foods & ToGo, monitoring profitability, inventory levels, and product presentation, while delivering exceptional guest service. Lead, coach, and develop department team; assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training; manage schedules and labor budgets; ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (DOH/DOA/OSHA); maintain merchandising standards, pricing accuracy, and signage; collaborate with buyers/store leadership on product assortment and inventory; drive action plans to improve performance and guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of supervisory or management experience in grocery, specialty retail, food service, hospitality, or a related environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales, manage expenses, and achieve business goals.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
