Department Manager - Hardware - Plattsburgh, NY

Direct and coordinate the merchandising of assigned hardware products, setting priorities for new merchandise distribution and ensuring adequate inventory across all department areas. Assist customers with purchases while working closely with Retail Buyers to address product needs and maintain awareness of current product information. Provide training and direction to new department team members, ensuring safety practices are followed during merchandise handling. This role requires an irregular work schedule including days, nights, and every other weekend, with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and long periods of standing. The Department Manager reports to the Store Manager and delivers the highest level of customer service in our retail environment.
