Job Summary

DMGM is responsible for supervising Sales Supervisors, Stocking Team Leaders, aisle staff and stocking team, ensuring general floor merchandising standards, and managing floor operations. In the absence of the Store Manager, they assume full control of store operations. Key duties include supervising staff, applying financial information to maximize sales, maintaining merchandising standards, training and developing employees, and communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and team members. The role requires leadership, planning and organizational abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures. Required Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in the capacity of Sales Supervisor (or equivalent)
  • Current performance review indicating readiness for promotion
  • Successful completion of management training courses mandatory for current position
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to demand high standards and instill urgency
  • Strong planning, organizational and leadership abilities
  • Good knowledge of company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop employees in current position and for advancement
  • Sound supervisory and delegation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, employees, and fellow management
