Job Summary
Department Manager at H&M Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville, IA, responsible for leading the in-store team to deliver an omni customer experience, drive sales and profitability, and ensure visual and commercial execution according to global guidelines. Oversees recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, scheduling, and development of staff; maintains store standards for merchandising, stock management, fitting room and checkout routines, and compliance with procedures. Focuses on leveraging fashion knowledge, customer service, and team collaboration to achieve budget goals, promote loyalty initiatives (Hello Member), and advance sustainability efforts in-store. Works with Visual Merchandiser colleagues to maintain high fashion quality and promotions while ensuring a clean, organized sales floor and back-of-house operations. Required Qualifications
- Ability to lead and develop a retail team
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Experience in sales, budgeting, and planning
- Knowledge of merchandising and customer service standards
- Capability to manage store operations including opening/closing and stock control
- Familiarity with in-store technology and omnichannel initiatives (Click & Collect, Smart Store)
