Job Summary

Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment while performing duty manager responsibilities, including opening and closing the store across weekdays and weekends. Build team capability on Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance through engagement, performance management, and recognition. Rostering and strategic planning for your team to deliver on the service promise, driving department sales through merchandising and monitoring key metrics. Action customer feedback to improve the end-to-end customer experience and own department stock accuracy including adjustments, replenishment discipline, and loss prevention processes. Monitor and measure customer service levels while liaising with Merchandising, Store Leadership, and Health and Safety teams. This role includes a minimum of 1 in 3 weekend roster and some public holiday work.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in leading teams in the retail industry or a large, high volume customer focused organisation
  • Confident leader, experienced in opening and closing the store and supporting smooth trade across weekdays and weekends
  • Champion a Safe & Secure environment by role‐modelling safety leadership and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • You must be age 15 or over to apply for a role at Bunnings
  • This can include police, employment, medical and qualification checks

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in leading teams with a focus on Safety and Wellbeing and Specialist products is preferred
