Department Manager - Capalaba QLD

Lead a department at Bunnings Capalaba (QLD) to manage ongoing daily operations, sales and high-volume stock management within your specialist area, reporting to the Operations Manager and Complex Manager. You will supervise a team of 20+ teammates, drive Service and Operations, train and develop staff, ensure the department showcases the Widest Range and Best Prices, monitor customer service levels, liaise with Merchandising, Store Leadership and Health and Safety, and build strong supplier relationships. Responsibilities include rostering and strategic planning, driving department sales through merchandising and KPI monitoring, ensuring stock accuracy and loss prevention, and performing duty manager responsibilities including opening and closing the store on weekdays and weekends; some public holiday work is required.
