Job Summary
Lead multi-shift manufacturing operations at Casa Grande's Abbott Nutrition plant, driving operational excellence through key performance metrics like OEE, labor efficiency, and material utilization. Manage departmental budgets up to $12M USD while ensuring strict compliance with FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies. Develop frontline leaders across multiple shifts, oversee staffing and training, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maintain business continuity. Partner with cross-functional teams to execute change initiatives and support site audits. This role supports Abbott's global mission to provide science-based nutrition products, including Similac and Ensure, to millions of people worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, science, food technology, engineering
- Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in an FDA regulated food manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
- Proven leadership experience in a multi-shift manufacturing environment
- Strong background in people leadership, operational performance management, and continuous improvement
- Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and change management initiatives
- Ability to work independently, influence across functions, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a regulated manufacturing work environment with preference being for food, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, etc.
- Experience utilizing project planning and execution tools
- Green Belt Certification
