Job Summary
Engage and lead store team members to deliver exceptional customer experience in Meijer’s grocery department. Provide direction on operations, processes, and in-store conditions; mentor and coach staff to exceed customer service and sales goals; assist with scheduling, training, inventory, and compliance with food safety standards; ensure proper product rotation, pricing, display, ordering, receiving, and stocking; foster Meijer culture and diversity initiatives; operate a register when needed and participate in period inventories. The role emphasizes leadership, team development, and accountability to achieve department goals and maintain operational excellence across the grocery area.
Required Qualifications
- Retail or other customer service experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication
