Job Summary
Conduct ICU float pool coverage across Zone 3 facilities including OrthoCO Hospital, Longmont Unite Hospital, and St Anthony locations, with potential float to PCU/Stepdown and MS-Tele units. Titrate all critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics. Maintain 24 months of critical care float pool experience with 12 months in the last 36 months. Work night shifts in a 6-9 weekend schedule for 13 weeks, with rare call or standby requirements. Submit only if residing over 60 miles from the facility and holding a Colorado or compact license.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years)
- Colorado license or compact license
- Must live >60 miles from facility
- 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health
- 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health
- 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Mountain) CommonSpirit Health
- Must have 2 years of ICU experience
- Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips: Pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin, and more
- If a 1st time traveler - then they need to have 3+ years of ICU experience & have Epic experience
- No Home Base Facility - MUST FLOAT - Zone 3: OrthoCO Hospital, Longmont Unite Hospital, St Anthony, St Anthony North
- May be asked to float into any other acuity level: ICU, PCU/Stepdown, & MS-Tele
- 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule
- May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation
- Call or standby are rare, for low census
- 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027
- Number of holidays allowed off: 1
- Start assignment restriction: 14 days
- 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
- Driver's license required for submission
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
