Job Summary
Assess risks, analyze data, document observations, and communicate insights to support client engagements in internal audit and financial advisory projects. Manage time and priorities effectively while collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions that address complex business challenges. Develop fluency in AI-enabled analysis, data interrogation, and audit methodology through hands-on training and diverse project experiences. This role is part of Protiviti's Foundations program, which equips consultants with technical aptitude and coaching to become future leaders. Consultants work within either Business Process Audit or Technology Audit areas, gaining exposure to regulatory environments, risk frameworks, and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related fields)
- Visa Status: All applicants applying for U.S. job openings need authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying AI tools to analytical and research tasks (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GenAI, etc.)
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills and innovation to client engagements across various industries
- Technical proficiency aligning with the assigned capability area
- Understanding of internal audit processes, including the use of emerging technologies, understanding frameworks, and achieving audit objectives
- Handling and analyzing data and information in various formats to uncover valuable insights and draw actionable conclusions
- Experience with modern tools and technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite, data visualization tools like Power BI
- Entry-level proficiency in software development, best practices, and methodologies
- Interest in advanced analytics and automation technologies (e.g., Alteryx, MS Power Platform, Python)
- Effectively leverages AI tools with strong human judgment in the loop, driving efficiency in delivery while elevating the quality of insights and outcomes for clients
