Denture Lab Technician

Job Summary
Fabricate, assemble, and repair full and partial dentures according to dental prescriptions and specifications. Interpret impressions, molds, and blueprints to create accurate prosthetic devices while selecting and manipulating materials like acrylics, resins, and metals. Perform quality control checks to ensure functional and cosmetic standards before delivery, and maintain laboratory equipment for precision. Collaborate with dentists to discuss case requirements and modifications, documenting all work processes and materials used. Stay updated on advancements in dental materials and technologies to improve lab practices. This role requires a high school diploma, accredited dental laboratory technology program completion, and CDT certification or eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental laboratory technology program or equivalent vocational training
- Certification as a Certified Dental Technician (CDT) or eligibility to obtain certification
- Proven experience working in a dental laboratory environment
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and prosthetic fabrication techniques
- Manual dexterity
- Knowledge of dental materials

- Organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in dental technology or related field
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology and digital denture design software
- Familiarity with OSHA and other health and safety regulations relevant to dental labs

- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
