Job Summary
Conduct routine dental care services including general restorative and preventative procedures, crown and bridge, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, prosthetics, oral pathology identification, and oral surgery. Obtain dental histories, complete examinations, develop treatment plans, write prescriptions, and review patient charts before appointments. Supervise clinical procedures performed by Registered Dental Hygienists and Registered Dental Assistants, provide clinical guidance to clinic personnel, and train dental assistants. Participate in department protocol development, ensure adherence to OSHA and Dental Board policies, and consult with medical staff for complex patients. Rotate among Redding Rancheria health campuses while assisting the Dental Director with administrative coordination and benefits verification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Dentistry with Doctor Dental Surgery (DDS) degree or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
- Current California State Board of Dentistry License
- CPR certification
- Current DEA Class 3 License
- Demonstrated work experience as a Dentist in private or clinical practice
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Indian preference
- Must be fingerprinted and pass background check
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Four 10-hour shifts
