Job Summary
Two full-time Dentists are sought to join an FQHC clinic with a mobile dentist option in Fortuna, Crescent City, and Eureka, CA. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive dental care (exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals), coordinating with other healthcare professionals, educating patients on oral hygiene, maintaining accurate records, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The role serves a predominantly Medicaid population (80-90%) with a balanced mix of adults and pediatric patients and involves collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Compensation includes a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, generous PTO and education days, housing stipend for Crescent City, loan repayment opportunities, in-house residency program, retirement plans, provider allowances, and comprehensive health coverage. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school
- Current and unrestricted California dental license
- DEA registration
- Ability to provide compassionate care to underserved populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities
