Job Summary
Provide on-site dental care at the Indiana County Jail in Indiana, PA, including routine drilling, fillings, and extractions, and supervise dental care and health planning for inmates. Duties include evaluating dental health programs, consulting with facility physicians, monitoring supplies/equipment, performing initial dental screenings, educating inmates on dental hygiene, and delivering in-service training for health staff. For full-time option, coverage of multiple facilities in the area may include travel; compensation includes annual salary for full-time or hourly pay for part-time with benefits such as company-paid liability insurance, licensure reimbursement, medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement benefits, PTO, and a company vehicle. Requirements include PA dental licensure, DEA license, BLS/CPR, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Dentistry
- Licensed to practice Dentistry in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Maintain current DEA license
- Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification
- Maintain current Driver’s License
