Job Summary
Part-Time Associate Dentist needed to provide dental services to patients (primarily ages 3-21 with up to 30% adults) with support from a team. The role involves mentoring and collaboration, using DentaPro software, digital x-ray/Panorex, fiber-optic handpieces, OSHA/HIPAA and Emergency Management training, and a patient flow of 10-12 operative and 20-25 hygiene patients per day. Offices emphasize teamwork, community care, and a commitment to quality, affordable dental care in underserved communities. Licensure in applicable states and nitrous oxide certification in specified states are required, along with CPR/DEA and related credentials; a DDS/DMD from a CODA-accredited program is required.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
- Nitrous Oxide certification (only LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
- CPR, DEA, etc. certifications as required
- Compassion and strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults
