Job Summary
Part-time Associate Dentist needed to provide dental services to patients with a team-based practice. Responsibilities include delivering care to patients (primarily ages 3-21, up to 30% adults), using DentaPro software, digital x-ray and Panorex units, fiber-optic handpieces, and participating in OSHA/HIPAA/emergency management training. Work setting involves a fixed team structure (1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, 2 dental assistants per provider) with a typical patient mix of 10-12 operative and 20-25 hygiene patients per day. Requires Friday and Saturday availability; compensation includes a guaranteed daily rate during ramp period or a percentage of collections, with CE opportunities and multiple schedule options to support work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
- Nitrous Oxide certification (only LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
- CPR
- DEA
- Other certifications as required - CPR, DEA, etc.
