Job Summary
Provide dental services to patients using DentaPro software, digital x-ray units, and fiber-optic handpieces, supported by a team of hygienists, assistants, and a hygiene assistant. Manage an average daily flow of 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients, primarily serving children ages 3-21 with a smaller adult population. Participate in morning huddles to plan the day, highlight customer focus, and foster collaboration. Complete yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training while maintaining a valid state license and required certifications such as CPR and DEA. Travel between offices in Portsmouth and Norfolk, VA.
Required Qualifications
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
- Other certifications as required - CPR, DEA, etc.
- Nitrous Oxide certification (only LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
- Must be willing and available to travel to the following locations: 4072 Victory Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701, 5900 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502, 2338 E Little Creek Rd, Norfolk, VA 23518
